Instructor Training & Certification
< All Topics
Our instructors go through our own instructor certification, which entails 40+ hours of hands-on teaching, and 5+ hours of study to complete certifications. Our President, Nikki Miller, has been the past chair of the US Swim School Association’s Learn-to-Swim Certification Committee, and has over 30 years experience in teaching swim lessons to all ages. She developed our certification program to be one of the best in the industry. Instructors are further required to obtain and keep current CPR, Lifeguard and First Aid certifications. Many of our instructors have also completed our personally designed Infant/Toddler Certification which entails additional hands-on teaching and study.
